• Excipients – to create a searchable safety/toxicity database of excipients likely to be used in paediatric formulations.

  We aim to perform a global survey to assess the need of this excipients database and further develop a prototype database based on user's need. The long term goals are to implement this prototype database with several high priority excipients, to collect initial feedbacks from users for refinement, eventually include more excipients and maintain the finalized database. We have developed a survey questionnaire to capture users feedback. Please participate in the survey. Broad input will be essential to the sucess of this important project.

This conference will shed a light on key issues of paediatric drug development such as age appropriateness of dosage forms and administration pathways, taste masking and taste assessment, administration pathways, administration devices, extemporaneous formulations and new developmentsfor global market.
The European Paediatric Formulation Initiative (EuPFI) cordially invite all those interested/involved in any aspect of paediatric drug/formulation development to participate actively by submitting abstracts, either for oral (Soap box sessions) or poster presentation.
